When I saw a woodpecker

I was walking down the street one day when my dad spotted a woodpecker fliying from tree to tree with a worm in his mouth.My dad said that he was feeding his chics it was making lots of noise and you could hear it tapping on the tree.

Near there were some damp fences with lots of lichen on it.If you dont now what lichen its a mix of fungi and algi.There were some green and yellow lichen.
